Mac OS X setup and installation of AFS
- General instructions on how to install/configure
Mac OS X and suggested applications are given here.
- If you have a working Mac OS X installation, you might want to install
AFS. Instructions are here.
Applications for Mac OS X
- ps2printer. This small application fixes an annoying omission in
Mac OS X, namely the possibility to send postscript files directly to postscript
printers. By accident I found the UNIX tool atprint that can do exactly this,
send postscript files to a postscript printer and ps2printer is just a wrapper
around this command which lets you drop postscript files onto it and they
are then sent to your selected postscript printer. Mac OS X 10.1.2 or higher
are needed
Download version 0.1 (February 5, 2002).
Scripts for UNIX / Linux
- bibsort.pl.
This little Perl script takes a LaTeX file and sorts the references
either accoring to occurance or alphabetically.
